I was delighted to see the beautiful silhouette illustrations that once again preface each chapter.

It was Trace and Cole for whom my heart ached the most. Danni is torn and while I sympathized with her, I also wanted to slap her more than once. These powerful men are used to being in total control, but they make themselves completely vulnerable, laying all their feelings on the line knowing they will be destroyed if they lose her. Tensions rise as Trace and Cole fight hard and dirty for her heart. This puts Danni in the awkward position of being like the newest Bachelorette trying to decide which man, if either, she wants to give the final rose. Being engaged to two men is impossible, but neither man is willing to give her up. Trace and Cole are extremely different, yet Danni’s love for them is equally fierce. Two is a Lie is like Kryptonite to angst junkies, and only three things got me through this book: ranting on social media, lots of red wine, and a bottle of Tums. I thought the love triangle was fairly easy to handle in the first book, but apparently that was just foreplay.

Two is a Lie is the second book in the Tangled Lies trilogy, and Pam Godwin mic drops the hell out this turbulent story.

TANGLED LIES (a trilogy) One is a Promise: Coming JTwo is a Lie: Coming JThree is a War: Coming Aug 29, 2017 I love two men, and if I can only have one, I choose none. Together, they entangle me in a web of lies, rivalry, and desire that weaves as deeply as their devotion to me. The battle that ensues wrenches me back and forth between them. And he’s committed to annihilating the competition. Trace is an intoxicating breeze of seduction over ice. His sudden reappearance questions everything I thought I knew, including how I came to love another man. Not when he crashed back into my life in a violent explosion of testosterone and fury.
